Brandon Stryker had a tough 1st match in the no gi, narrowly loosing his match by 2 points, only to come back in the gi division to avenge his loss against the same opponent. Winning via points. Dusty Ford displayed the work he has been putting into his guard and scored nice sweep attempts in his 2 gi matches. Elias Rodriguez had a hard fought day, competing in the purple belt gi division and then going on to the no gi Absolute division, loosing only by 2 points to one of the best competitors at the tournament. Adam Jusaino showed heart going the distance in one his very first tournaments in the gi division white. Matthew Ignasiak had a strong run in his divisions competing in both the gi and no gi competitions placing in both and winning a come from behind exiting match via submission! The GBNH Competitor of the day was big Scott Shelburne. Scott had a busy day competing in 7 matches!! He placed in all 3 divisions he signed up for and represented our team proudly, displaying true poise and competitive maturity by listening perfectly as he competed, doing everything he was intsructed to do during the course of his matches. Congrats to all, I can not wait to see you all and the rest of our team compete in the near future!! -Prof. Todd-
